In 2016, Scott Anderson began his art project 282 lines. He uses walking and running to take a rope for drawing a line on the summit of Scotland's highest mountains, collectively known as Munros.

The body in relation to journey, land, time, movement, environment and place are interrelated aspects of his aesthetic.

Scott Anderson was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. He received his MFA from Edinburgh College of Art in 1999. He's a  Professor of Art and Design and production potter.
